Robbinsville college students in the news

rs-college artThe following college news is about Robbinsville residents who have recently earned degrees or received recognition for outstanding academic achievement.

 Kyle J. Hoffman, of Robbinsville, graduated May 17 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in mining engineering. Mr. Hoffman, the son of Carol and Scott Hoffman, has accepted a position with York Building Products as a plant manager trainee in Port Deposit, Maryland.

 Diana DiClemente, of Robbinsville, graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in energy, business and finance with a minor in Italian. She has begun her career as an energy trader at New Jersey Resources Corporation in Wall Township.

 Brian Alston, of Robbinsville, graduated from the University of New Haven in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice.

Nora Carnevale, of Robbinsville, graduated from the University of Delaware on May 25.

 Alissa Guarnaccia, of Robbinsville, was named to the dean’s list at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina, for the spring 2013 semester.

Ashley Bronston, of Robbinsville, has been named to the president’s list at Mansfield University, in Mansfield, Pennsylvania for the spring 2013 semester. To be named to the president’s list, students must be attending the university full-time and have a 4.0 GPA for the semester.

Michelle Principato, of Robbinsville, was named to the dean’s list at Gettysburg College, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for the spring 2013 semester.

Erin Elizabeth Sutphen, a rising sophomore neuroscience major at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester. Ms. Sutphen is the daughter of Janice L. Sutphen-Gentz of Robbinsville.

Meagan Lesniak, of Robbinsville, has been placed on Gettysburg College’s deans’ commendation list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2013 semester.

Christopher Pauzer, of Robbinsville, graduated from The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut on June 7. Pauzer was a co-captain of the boys varsity basketball team and named as Western New England All-Star of the boys varsity lacrosse team.
